This page is a reconstruction of ACAMADI Automotive's previous terms. The business should review and approve all wording before relying on it.
Pre-service consultation
A discussion is required before a fitting appointment is confirmed. Photographs of the vehicle, dashboard, windscreen, existing equipment or proposed installation positions may be requested.
Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your installation appointment and is deducted from the final balance. The original policy treated deposits as non-refundable; any retention must be lawful, fair and proportionate.
Appointment cancellations and rescheduling
An existing deposit may be transferred to a rearranged appointment within a reasonable period agreed by ACAMADI Automotive. Cancellation charges are subject to applicable statutory rights.
Appointment timings
Installation times are estimates and include fitting and a demonstration of the equipment where applicable. Unexpected or additional work may extend the appointment. Any additional charge will be agreed before the work proceeds.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the outstanding balance is due in advance or on completion of the installation. Invoices are available on request. The original terms specified a £10 late-payment charge; any charge must be lawful and agreed in advance.
Car parks
You must obtain permission for fitting at the agreed location. Where paid parking is necessary, you are responsible for agreed parking charges for both your vehicle and ACAMADI Automotive's service vehicle.
Weather conditions
Outdoor installations may be rearranged if the weather makes the work unsafe or risks damage to the vehicle or equipment. The original terms identified heavy rain, winds exceeding 30 mph and temperatures below 0°C. A gazebo or temporary shelter may be required in certain conditions, and you may be asked to reposition the vehicle to accommodate it.
Same-day cancellations
The original policy specified a minimum £60 same-day cancellation charge. Where a retained deposit exceeds this amount, it replaces the cancellation charge. Charges must be reasonable, reflect actual losses and respect statutory rights; the same loss will not be charged twice.
Social media and website
Please inform ACAMADI Automotive if you do not wish photographs of your vehicle to be used on its website or social media.
Road risk
For insurance purposes, ACAMADI Automotive representatives will not move your vehicle during fitting. You or your authorised representative must reposition it when requested. Please disclose relevant pre-existing damage or faults before work begins. Work may be postponed where an identified issue creates a safety risk. ACAMADI Automotive remains responsible for any loss or damage for which it is legally liable.
Health and safety
Please provide a safe working area and remove hazardous objects, contaminated waste and harmful substances from the vehicle. Do not start the vehicle or operate the ignition during installation unless asked to do so. Work may be stopped if a significant safety concern cannot reasonably be resolved.
Respect
Serious abusive, violent or threatening behaviour towards ACAMADI Automotive representatives may result in the appointment being terminated and future services refused, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Vehicle warranty disclaimer
Aftermarket accessories may affect certain manufacturer or third-party warranty provisions. Customers should check with their manufacturer or warranty provider before installation.
Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights to goods and services supplied with reasonable care and skill.
